The Johannesburg Branch of the Gunners’ Association continued its cherished tradition of hosting the annual Christmas Day Lunch for the residents of GEM Homes in Roosevelt Park, Johannesburg, on Friday, 6 December 2024.
The event was a heartwarming occasion, bringing together the residents and members of the Gunners’ Association in a celebration of fellowship and the festive season. The lunch was well attended, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and appreciation.
Special thanks go to Mavis Boberg and the dedicated ladies from GEM Homes for preparing a delicious feast that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert, thanks to the generous sponsorship of GATTI, who provided 10L of ice cream. With the current hot summer weather, the refreshing treat was the perfect way to cool off and bring smiles all around.
This annual lunch is more than just a meal—it’s a testament to the spirit of community and the importance of bringing people together during the festive season. The JHB Branch is proud to continue this tradition, which holds a special place in the hearts of all involved.
