On 19 November, 2024, the Trustees of the Building and Development Trust of the SA National Museum of Military History, hosted the Director of the Museum (Allan Sinclair) and his staff to Christmas lunch at The View.
The lunch was preceded by a tour of the Transvaal Scottish Museum lead by Lt Col (Ret) Spike Bekker.
In his brief speech, Maj Gen (Ret) Roy Andersen, Chairman of the Trust, thanked the Museum staff for their support and efforts in the past year. In his reply, Allan Sinclair, thanked the Trustees for the 146 individual maintenance items they assisted the staff with and for the expenditure of some R2 million.
The lunch ended on a festive note.
