The year end function for 2025 was well attended. 12 gunners joined the get together, with 2 more joining slightly later due to work obligations. There were quite a few absent due to other prior commitments, but promised that their attendance will be better next year. They were missed.

The gunners were treated to some refreshments from the coffee bar and the more spirited bar while having a snack which was arranged by Gnr Collin Hyman.

The Potchefstroom and National banners with the Field Artillery flag were proudly displayed and visited by Gnr Wally Plotz and other during the course of the afternoon.
As can be seen from the picture the guys had quite a few good laughs of the antics and memories shared by the likes of Andre, Mike and Rob. Some were less vocal and only shared in the camaraderie amongst fellow gunners. Rob’s son, Sean Trautman and Gnr Wally Plotz joined the group later and the conversation kept on going for quite a while.
