Gunner Roy Andersen, the National President of the Gunners’ Association unveiled a resin Branch badge.
Our National Chairman, Gunner Kevin Ashton, expressed a desire that each branch should acquire a badge, and that this badge be prominently displayed at branch functions.
The concept was developed after the fantastic repair to the Barberton plinths which our East Rand branch so expertly handled, and which saw the original brass badge that was stolen being replaced with a resin replica.
The Johannesburg branch lunch held at Honeyrock Motel, in Honeydew Johannesburg, was well attended.
