Kedar Heritage Lodge Tour – 16th October 2021

You may or may not be aware, but the Magaliesberg and greater Johannesburg/Pretoria areas was hard fought for during the Anglo Boer/South African War (ABW), in particular the guerrilla phase. We plan to offer a series of Battlefield Tours over the next 24 months starting with a day visit to Kedar Heritage Lodge. Kedar Heritage Lodge, to the west of Rustenburg, has one of the best private collections of ABW memorabilia you will see. Optional Tour Extension:- stay over night and visit Elands River Siege on Sunday.

Tour Extension 17th October visit to Elands River Siege  4th to 16th August 1900 (about 45 minutes West of Kedar) {overnight at Kedar}

08h00 Depart the Lodge for Elands River.

09h00 Tour of Battlefield by Peet Coetzee.

13h00 Depart for home.
